There's a flurry of festive treats in store for David Tennant's UK fans this Christmas as five of David's films will be shown on TV across the holiday season including the terrestrial TV premiere of the family comedy, What We Did On Our Holiday over the New Year.

Check out the details below:

Nativity 2 - 17th December, 4.35pm,  BBC Two
David Tennant stars as an anxious teacher who starts a new job at an under-achieving school and quickly finds himself struggling to cope with a wild classroom assistant, a group of under-performing kids and his own very pregnant wife. He soon becomes embroiled in a madcap plan to enter a National ‘Song for Christmas’ Competition and finds himself embarking on a disastrous road trip in search of the competition venue – the ‘Christmas Castle’. Lost in the wilderness with a class of small children, a baby and a donkey, he has to stand up, face his fears and try to lead them not only to safety, but victory. Nativity 2 is part action adventure, part musical and has all the comedy, warmth and heart that audiences love.

How To Train Your Dragon - 22nd December, 3.40pm, BBC One
Hiccup is a Norse teenager from the island of Berk, where fighting dragons is a way of life. His progressive views and weird sense of humor make him a misfit, despite the fact that his father  is chief of the clan. Tossed into dragon-fighting school, he endeavors to prove himself as a true Viking, but when he befriends an injured dragon he names Toothless, he has the chance to plot a new course for his people's future. David Tennant voices Spitelout in this animated adventure.

Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire - 27th December, 7.30pm, ITV
Harry's fourth summer and the following year at Hogwarts are marked by the Quidditch World Cup and the Triwizard Tournament, in which student representatives from three different wizarding schools compete in a series of increasingly challenging contests. However, Voldemort's Death Eaters are gaining strength and even creating the Dark Mark, giving evidence that the Dark Lord is ready to rise again.
In the unsuspecting lives of the young wizards and witches at Hogwarts the competitors are selected by the goblet of fire, which this year makes a very surprising announcement: Hogwarts will have two representatives in the tournament, including Harry Potter! Will Harry be able to rise to the challenge for the Triwizard Tournament while keeping up with school or will the challenges along with Voldemort's rebirth be too much for the young hero?
David Tennant stars as Barty Crouch Jr.

The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists - 1st January, 11.10am, BBC One
In The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists, Hugh Grant stars in his first animated role as the luxuriantly bearded Pirate Captain -- a boundlessly enthusiastic, if somewhat less-than-successful, terror of the High Seas. With a rag-tag crew at his side (Martin Freeman, Brendan Gleeson, Russell Tovey, and Ashley Jensen), and seemingly blind to the impossible odds stacked against him, the Captain has one dream: to beat his bitter rivals Black Bellamy (Jeremy Piven) and Cutlass Liz (Salma Hayek) to the much coveted Pirate Of The Year Award. It's a quest that takes our heroes from the shores of exotic Blood Island to the foggy streets of Victorian London. Along the way they do battle with the pirate-hating Queen Victoria (Imelda Staunton) and team up with a young Charles Darwin (David Tennant), but never lose sight of what a pirate loves best: adventure!

What We Did On Our Holiday - 1st January, 10.00pm, BBC Two
A hilarious journey through an unforgettable family holiday as a couple attempts to keep their impending divorce secret from their extended family.
Doug (David Tennant) and Abi (Rosamund Pike) and their three children travel to the Scottish Highlands for Doug’s father Gordie’s (Billy Connolly) birthday party, where it’s soon clear that when it comes to keeping their secret under wraps their children are their biggest liability.
From nine year old Lottie’s notebook to keep track of the lies so she remembers which ones to tell, to four year old Jess’s perverse attachment to a brick named Norman, for their parents a week has never seemed such a long time.
But it’s middle child Mickey and his granddad’s shared passion for Vikings which gives rise to the most far-reaching and unexpected consequences. When a day at the beach turns to tragedy, the children take matters into their own hands.
From the creators of hit BBC comedy series Outnumbered – What We Did On Our Holiday is funny, honest and ultimately uplifting.…
