David Tennant Skypes In To Marvel's Jessica Jones Netflix FYC Panel - "Jessica Jones Was A Gamble Worth Taking"

The Emmy For Your Consideration campaigns are in full swing and last night saw the Marvel's Jessica Jones cast descend upon the Paramount Theater for a Q&A panel and screening of the hit Netflix series. The show which was highly praised by critics is hoping to win big in the 2016 Emmy Awards, which take place in September. Voting for nominations begins next month, with the nominees being announced on 14th July.

Stars Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, Rachael Taylor and Carrie-Ann Moss were in attendance and David Tennant who played the villainous mind controlling Kilgrave in the series appeared via Skype from his home back in London, much to the delight of members of the audience.

"It's four in the morning here, I'm wearing my pyjamas," he joked - gesturing to his off-screen bottom half, when it was put to him that he inspired fear.

David also recalled initially seeing the part of bad guy Kilgrave in "Jessica Jones" as "a gamble".
"You just read the script and you go 'Well writing isn't this good normally - these scripts are just perfection.' So I just thought this is a gamble worth taking."

Jessica Jones is available to stream worldwide via Netflix.

About the show:
Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell's Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need... especially if they're willing to cut her a check.
