Voting is now open for the 2016 National Television Awards, and David Tennant and his projects are counting on your support!

The NTAs are television's biggest night of the year and  the results of the huge annual awards ceremony are decided by you, the viewer. With categories ranging from Drama Performance to Factual to International Shows, there's every chance that your favourite programmes and stars are represented.

David Tennant is up against a whopping 57 other competitors in the Drama Performance category in a year that's boasted some remarkable TV roles. Olivia Colman is also nominated for Broadchurch, alongside Aidan Turner (Poldark), Gemma Chan (Humans), Jim Carter (Downton Abbey), Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who), Christopher Eccleston (Safe House) and Michael Palin (Remember Me), among many others.

The second series of Broadchurch, which hit UK screens back in January, is represented in the Drama category, facing some strong competition from the likes of The Fall, Doctor Who, Downton Abbey and This Is England '90.

Finally the second series of spoof documentary W1A starring Hugh Bonneville and narrated by David Tennant is one of the nominees in the Comedy category which also includes Pater Kay's Car Share, Benidorm and Vicious.
