Watch Doctor Who At The Proms On BBC One This Afternoon

When tickets for the Proms season went on sale back in May, the Doctor Who Prom sold out in a matter of minutes. If you weren’t lucky enough to secure a ticket, or if you simply want to relive the experience, here's your chance to enjoy some of the highlights from the show.
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic and much-loved BBC series, this Bank Holiday television special features Murray Gold's popular music for the show, accompanied by specially edited visual sequences from the Doctor's most recent adventures.
Hosted by the Doctor's friends, Madame Vastra and Strax, the concert also includes a look back at 'classic' Doctor Who series and the music created by the legendary BBC Radiophonic Workshop.
Featuring special guest appearances by Matt Smith (making one of his final public outings as The Doctor before leaving the title role later in the year); Jenna-Louise Coleman (who plays Clara, Doctor's current companion); Peter Davison (the 5th Doctor) and Carole Ann Ford (the Doctor's first companion and granddaughter Susan Foreman).
Performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the London Philharmonic Choir, with soloists Elin Manahan Thomas, Allan Clayton and Kerry Ingram.
Tune in to BBC One at 4.00pm today.
