David Tennant Visits Charity Body & Soul

David Tennant, along with a number of other celebrities, today visited the London charity Body & Soul as part of the launch celebrations for Sport Relief 2012. Among the group was Lara Stone, model and wife to Sport Relief challenge hero David Walliams, Tom Ellis, star of Miranda, and choreographer Arlene Phillips. Also present was model and TV presenter Lizzie Cundy who tweeted a picture of her and David.

Established in 1996, Body & Soul is a pioneering UK charity dedicated to transforming the lives of children, teenagers and families living with, or affected by HIV. You can read more about their crucial work here.

Sport Relief runs on alternate years to its sister campaign Comic Relief with the same aim of raising money to support projects in the UK and overseas. This year the campaign has already seem two huge celebrity challenges in the form of Helen Skelton's Polar trek and David Walliams's Thames Swim, while last week saw the Sport Relief Bake Off. However, there is still plenty more to come in the form of the Sport Relief Mile and Let's Dance For Sport Relief, special themed episodes of favourite TV shows and the marathon TV show on BBC1 from 7pm on Friday 23rd March. Celebrity participants in the Sport Mile and the dance tournament have yet to be announced, as has the full line up for the TV show.
