Much Ado About Nothing Closes Today!

It's a sad day - summer is almost over and it's the final day of Much Ado About Nothing at London's Wyndham's Theatre after an amazing run that started back in May!
The show won over fans and critics alike and has played to packed out theatres every night since!

Here's hoping we can all relive it again with a recorded performance soon....

  1. Let's hope it is put out as a DVD soon. Have not been able to get to London to see this on stage, much to my regret. However, on seeing photos and reading comments sounds terrific. David Tennant always makes a performance worth watching and I'm sure he and Catherine Tate had a great time. Well, done. Good to see it was well supported.

I was very lucky to get to see Much Ado for my Birthday in June. It was hilarious all the way through, punctuated with a couple of heart wrenching moments which were well played by Catherine Tate. I can't wait to see it again if they make a recorded performance. I think they should, not just for those of us who would like to relive the experience but for everyone else who couldn't be there.

  3. Shame (sob sob) but managed to see it twice and would love it to be on DVD so those who couldn't go have the chance to see DT's great acting (love the slap stick and the fancy dress!!)

  7. Absolutely Awesome!!! If you haven't had the opportunity to see for whatever reason, you got to when given the opportunity... And if you have seen it like me you'll know exactly why you need to see again... and again... and again!!! :-D

  8. I flew from Canada to especially see Much Ado with them and they did not disappoint. I was so lucky as the night after our performance David had to bow out for three performances due to loosing his voice. I would love to see a recorded performance of it as once was just not enough. Also our seats did not allow us to see all the fantastic facial expressions David has. Oh and Catherine was fantastic too, such a great duo! I hope they do something together again and soon!

I was lucky enough to find tickets to the last performance. We flew across the pond just for the performance. It was simply brilliant. A real treat. (and I won't be able to paint the last two rooms in my house without giggling... :-) )
