VIDEO: New Ferdinand Promo Clip With David Tennant As Angus

Check out a new clip from the brand new animated feature Ferdinand, starring John Cena as the gentle bovine giant and David Tennant as Highland bull Angus. In the preview below, Ferdinand is brought back to the bull training camp where he meets some of the other residents.

FERDINAND: Two Golden Globe Nominations For New David Tennant Animated Feature

Ferdinand, the brand new animated movie featuring the voice of David Tennant has been nominated for two Golden Globe Awards. 20th Century Fox announced that the feelgood feature was shortlisted for Best Animated Motion Picture and Best Original Song (the Nick Jonas track Home).

Ferdinand is a 3D animated retelling, from Blue Sky Studios and 20th Century Fox Animation, of the children's 1936 storybook The Story Of Ferdinand. It tells of a gentle bull calf who flees from a Spanish bull training camp when he discovers the horror of the bullring and is adopted by a young girl on her family's farm. But his idyllic life comes crashing down when he is captures and returned to the ranch where the plan is for him to face up to El Primero, Spain's greatest matador. Ferdinand is voiced by John Cena, while David Tennant provides the voice of Highland bull Angus. USA: BBC America To Run Doctor Who Marathon Ahead Of 2017 Christmas Special

Christmas Day for Whovians means, of course, Doctor Who Christmas Special Day, and as usual BBC America will be ramping up the excitement among American fans through one of their week long Doctor Who Takeovers. Stand and deliver! Get a first glimpse of The Highway Rat in action as part of the BBC One's Christmas collection of family films and animated adventures. David Tennant gives voice to the ravenous rodent in a 30-minute adaptation of the enchanting picture book by Julia Donaldson and Alex Scheffler.

First published in 2011, The Highway Rat is about a ravenous rat who craves buns, biscuits and all sweet things.
